In the summer of 2004, Mr. Ishwar Jodha, with over two decades of experience in the liner industry met a friend who had vast experience in the forwarding industry, and Triple Crown Shipping and Logistics was born. TCSL was fully operational in November of that same year. Through an alliance with well known local forwarding company, TCSL was able to share their established worldwide business network to successfully start approaching companies to book cargo.

Mr. Ramesh Pillai joined TCSL since its inception. He brought with him many years of forwarding experience. The combination of the liner and forwarding experience aided the development and expansion of TCSL. Since November 2004, TCSL has been able to increase its workforce to aggressively pursue new business and to help expand the range of services offered.

Within the first year of Operations TCSL was a force to reckon with in the FCL container forwarding both in UAE and other countries. With  substantial volume of Business ex-China and other Far East countries, TCSL was invited to join China Global Logistics Network (CGLN), the Chinese arm of the World Cargo Alliance (WCA), a renowned and aggressive consortium of independent forwarders. TCSL  is among the more active members of this consortium since joining, testimony of it being the fact that on several occasions TCSL has been recommended by fellow members to customers and new  agents looking for partners in U.A.E.

Having achieved substantial growth in the FCL and AIR  freight trades, TCSL has also grown steadily in the consolidation Biz. And after realizing our progress in that area we were invited to join SeaConsol Network. We are again among the prominent partners of this network.

In Jan 2007 TCSL was granted the exclusive franchise for the much renowned Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC). One of the most active and respected consortiums of project forwarders. Through committed service WWPC has become the world’s largest dedicated ‘project forwarding company’, establishing over a hundred exclusive offices spanning across 87 countries within a span of just two years. It was possible for WWPC to achieve this mass recognition & reputation by providing full range of project planning & forwarding support services throughout the globe, of which TCSL is the only exclusive WWPC agent in Dubai, UAE. On 1st JAN 2007 TCSL was appointed as the sole representatives of this prestigious network in Dubai. This association has facilitated our gradual growth in Project shipments to a larger scale. We are now working with world wide partners known to be second to none in the field of project forwarding. We are exclusive in-house forwarders for some very large project shippers. Project shipments has been our target for a while and today TCSL is well on its way to become a leading project forwarder.

Hence, we are proud to state that our strength as a project specialist is  among the best in the world.

In such a short period, TCSL has been able to offer many services including project logistics and personal effects shipments through constant innovation and presently has an impressive worldwide network of partners.

In 2007 Mr. Gautam Mukherjee joined TCSL as the Executive Director and partner.      Mr. Mukherjee brought with him experience in various aspects of liner and  forwarding experience. Most of all his hands on experience with project shipments. With two experienced and respected Industry stalwarts at the helm of TCSL  with over 60 years of shipping experience put together, the company has a perfect blend of Experience and youth in its ranks. TCSL is geared and ready for growth  and at the same time focused on our core  mission of keeping all our stake holders  i.e., our Customers, Agents, Employees and the community satisfied and happy.

We are located in the heart of Dubai, a vibrant and cosmopolitan city which is a major transportation hub in the region. About 75% of the population is expatriates, which truly makes the city a melting pot of different cultures and communities. Currently, there is massive development and expansion in the industrial, financial, commercial and residential sectors of the city and this can only lead to a booming economy in the future.

Dubai is an ideal transshipment hub with over a 125 of the world’s major container lines calling at Dubai’s twin ports, Jebel Ali and Port Rashid. Dubai ranks in the top 10 port cities for annual container volume. Jebel Ali also has the distinction of being the largest man made harbor in the world. One of the biggest advantages of Dubai’s geographic location is that no major markets in the Middle East are more than a 24 hour drive away. By Sea, Europe is 14 days away, Japan is 20 days away and South East Asia is 8 days away.

The modern Dubai International Airport also makes the city a major airfreight hub. It is No. 1 in the Middle East and one of the top twenty cargo airports in the world with an annual growth rate of 20%. Over 90 airlines fly to Dubai and then again fly out to over a 135 different locations worldwide.

Dubai certainly is the city of the future.

Triple Crown Shipping and Logistics had set many goals during the beginning of their operations. Through our dedicated staff we have been able to reach and surpass many of these goals. We are also on track to reach many of the more aggressive and long term goals.

One of TCSL’s main goals is to develop a wide range of worldwide business partners so that we can provide the best service to our clients. In addition we have plans to expand our business offerings by opening new branches in the Dubai Logistics City and the Airport Free Zone.
